DO we always have to replaster fully after efflorescence?

So in half the relevant walls in my house the plaster has blown, but in a couple there is barely just a tiny bit of discolouration.
I got told by a damp surveyor that even in those I use should fully replaster and seperate the damp and new plaster with a membrane.

Mr Johnny rippoff merchant is trying to charge me tens of thosands on just the plastering work in my house. Wtf how much should someone pay tops for a 4mx2.5m wall for even more complex cases?

Was thinking for smaller cases just to use a stain blocking primer and follow up with a couple of top coats.

Also for the more severe cases would you make a barrier out of a timber frame, drywall, https://wykamol.com/products/iso-therm-thin-internal-wall-insulation-tiwi or https://www.permagard.co.uk/newton-805-newlath-15m

Thanks!

All sources of the damp have been sorted, but I was told that eflorescence means the salts will stay there and continue to draw moisture from the air. But its minor enough in rooms 1 and 3 to not matter right?

It was 2 and 4 in which I was recommended to totally hack out and seperate the new plaster with some layer/stud-wall/membrane.

Thanks!

How do you mean all sources of the damp has been sorted, you've had quite a bit of it to be fair has a professional told you the sources of the damp have you checked the guttering down pipes floor levels etc
