Oh yes I fkin love it. Dark Monday morning 6:30 am...driving to some shitehole somewhere..carrying 8 bags of Hardwall up 4 flights of kin stairs..after sheeting them up ..water only down said stairs... Ain't had a cup of tea yet...bring all the tools up.. All on my own..forget something...go back down......I'll start work in a minute...Love it absolutely fkin love it.. What's not to love

Stood looking up at the vaulted ceiling I had just finished this afternoon (with insulation boards I was given) when the customer came up with a tray of tea & biccies in one hand & £400 in 20s in the other ... Hate it me! :RpS_lol:

i like it well enough to keep doing it. its like being a dog in a way. you do something well and then you get praise and a treat at the end of it. know i should have done something else but if ifs and ands were pots and pans ... i just keep doing the lottery. i might be like morgan freeman one day when hes rubbing that boat down on the beach ... :RpS_unsure:

Can be best job or worst job, depends on the money, but really plasters are not respected as they used to be,on site or by customers, still enjoy the work though

Too many shitty bathroom rip outs, bonding over tile grout and patching fricking holes,
With artex ceilings, etc.

Takes me all bloody day and I feel it!

But I tell me sen its keeping me fit so don't need no gym.

i would rather be doing this job than sat in a office with load of cranks bitchin bout each other lol.

Indeed.. When it gets freezing cold though and you're in a house with no heating.. Getting changed into your overalls that are still damp from the day before.. Firing up the calor gas fire to get warm.. Though snap time its toasted sarnies in front of the fire.

..it's coming that time of year again..

thanks for reminding us rhys,, lets hope its a mild one

Use to wrap the waist of my jeans around the gas blow heater and fire it up for five minutes to warm them up. Sod the steam that came off them due to the damp. Bitch when you got the belly on a red hot metal button though
