I think you're asking the wrong question mate, what you should have said is. "I've got a 100m2 of ceilings to do and they want a stipple pattern, are there any lads on here that would be interested in Wallcreting them for me?". Then my friend you would be snowed under with offers.

do it yourself , you need a broom and stipple pad,and a 1" baint brush for the margin and away you go!! lol

Stipple is a piece of piss mate, do it your self, just make the artex nice and wet or it will be to spikey

High Toolman is your first name Tim ?. I think you may be asking on the wrong forum mate , try the painters and decorators site as artexing was part of there trade and was the only bit that was difficult .

Tim but dim no wrong fella, may give it a go but painters around these parts do struggle with paint so not much chance with the thick stuff

That not true. A good artexer was hard to find. They could do some amazing stuff with gold leaf ect

Used to do this on site day in day out for 10 years and believe me stipple is the easiest one to cock up. The mix has to be cock on and the laying on even as.

Both will need sealing first with artex sealer. We always plaster first but thats only thats only because we are plasterers.

Does the price include all the prep as in tape the joints fill in screw heads and seal the boards ?

Still do artexing got one to do tomorrow personally find comb patterns easier than a good perfect stipple with no pad lines still prefer plastering to artexing any day would help you out but to far and to busy

Thanks for the offers guys, The price would be to tape, fill and finish ideally but I could skim over first what ever suits the man doing the white stuff

How do they want it done? taped or plastered first?
either way I just got to get a realistic cost in for the Artex I can do the boarding and got a decorator for the painting. Its a refurb of a vaccant bungalow that had a pipe burst back in the winter, hence the new ceilings. (painter dont do Artex that would be to easy)

Nowhere near you mate, but prob 50 notes for mats and a couple of ton labour for a one off like this. Used to get 90 pence a meter on big sites labour only back in the day.
