Plus it makes you look a bit more professional when you say ill leave it down for the other trades so they dont ruin your carpet. Especially when the sparks have already been in or something. The customer instantly thinks you care that bit more than them wankers

I'll only really use the sticky stuff on hsl otherwise it gets visqueen tps layed and taped to the skirting, much quicker, much easier.
£15 for 50m2.

Use window masking rolls on stairs, thinner, cheaper but still grips enough without sticking too hard. Don't use dusheets , use fresh tarp (wickes 4x5m £11) for each job.taped at sides with 3M brand duct tape or wickes waterproof. Blue overshoes from screwfix for sockets and radiator valves. All gets screwed into a ball, wrap round with duct tape and chucked after each job. Minimal cleaning.

The orange catnic was shite at the beginning but they changed the glue and it's brilliant. Last year I emailed a catnic rep and told him I wasn't happy with the last 10 rolls I bought and he said he would get 10 rolls sent out to me gratis, 2 weeks later I got a phonecall from a delivery driver in a lorry outside my house saying there was a delivery of plasterers tape for me and could I go out and give him a hand with boxes...I thought what a lazy c**t it's only 10 rolls!

Walked outside confused and the driver was unloading boxes of scrim outside my driveway. 10 boxes of the shitting stuff 24 rolls per box I couldn't believe they would make such a cock up. Sat tight for a few weeks waiting for a phonecall to take them back but didn't hear anything. Happy days.
Lol result

Wish this stuff was around before... I use to get tarps and tape them to the skirting. .. or even mask round the edge of the room and tape the tarps to the masking... what a headache...

But I've had it where the woman goes I clean up don't worry you have worked hard enough only to get a call about the mess from the old man so I learnt my lesson and always do it myself I think at times when I'm cleaning up on my domestics some I leave cleaner than when I arrived and some people come across like your a pest and hanging around by doing it but it's part of the job plus I always get them to check job over before they pay and that way I'm covered
