The river Test. Poached a few trout out of that one. Blue Sapphire gin distillery where the old paper mill used to be now. Well worth a visit.

That's the one mate. I also poached a few when I was a kid. My dad rented a quaint cottage just outside Salisbury - he told me it was built where people in the 16th century died of the 'Black Plague'.....very FOOKIN quaint

I got accounts with all main merchants and play them off against each other on prices through their reps regularly, but prefer to give as much as possible to home grown local merchants that often beat the national mobs prices even against the bigger buying power they have ! But bulk buying of beads, scrim, dpc, DPM, wall starters, fixings and some other stuff is far cheaper from up north with wack, r&j or UK hardware which I play them off against each other too !
Wickes is ok for bags of cement evenings and on Sundays but Thier all in is yellow crap !
B&q are a joke but handy for one things.
Travis are shyte !
Jewsons are the Harrods of merchants expensive but available cheaper elsewhere.

Jewsons always have been by far the cheapest for me
Travis won't go lover than £4.69 on skim.
I play whack and r&j off against each other regular on beads etc
Although last time r&j sent me a load of stuff I never asked for and still to this day trying to invoice me for
