Dot n dabbing thermalite blocks

Hi lads,got to d+d a room full of thermalites. The original d+d has all been tore down as it was badly fixed and spent. Whats the best way to treat the walls before dabbing? just a good drink of water do the trick or someone one mentioned few coats of very weak pva? cheers

Just stick them, pre cut a few boards if your concerned about suction

knock the dabs off ,give it a spray if it needs it wont take long

Have you done much dot and dabbing?? If not? Then don't bother wetting as it will have soaked in before you've got your tools in your hands!?
If you have but not very fast at doing the dabs? Then sealing the walls with watered down PVA 50/50 ratio should be more than enough and will give you more time to get your dabs on before sticking your boards on !? :RpS_thumbup:

Haha pvaing thermalites for dabbing that's a new one for me, if your floating then defo but never for dabbing
