With respect. This is not true. I have tested damp proofing companies in this regard. Most diagnosed wrongly but three out of the sample reported back to say no work necessary

Three out of how many?
Even you have to admit this firm that has advised this person is a conman/woman?

To the original poster (if you come back) where did they say the damp was coming from?
