Keep using the primer, but yes, use the accelerator. Saved us from a downpour that wasn't forecast last week.

Whenever it's completely dry usually next day is best

just have clean water and paint brush next to you. brush down any dust straight away.

I've seen a few jobs over the years peel off in sheets that haven't been primed it's a easy job not worth skipping
