Dry MultiFinish

Has anyone else got issues with multi when it dries? The issue being is looks like dog s**t! It’s flat, smooth and looks mint painted but when dry it looks like I’ve brushed water everywhere. I only use water on my trowel when trowelling up so I can’t put my finger on it.

How does that work then? I’m assuming it changes the colour of the multi?
No idea lol . Might just be i.m mental but seems easier to finish

So what’s this handful of daB about and why only first coat
It brings the ph level out in the water causeing a reaction to the crystals in the finish Causing a reaction with the steel of the trowel once put together..............not a f**k**g clue just old school plasterer told me to try it lol

Ok walter white!

So what makes it better? Trying to understand what difference a handful
Of dab does

Lol you do crack me up mate.

How do I determine if it worked or not, if I don't know what it's meant to do?

If your having pain with multi. Try it . If you dont have any pain its worked . If ypu still have pain it didnt work lol.........its that simple

It's deffo deffo deffo got worse over the last couple of years...

It's F*****g sole destroying how s**t it looks now when dry after doing a tip top job...

Again paints fine but that period between being dry and painted makes you look a proper c**t these days!

It is annoying as f**k and makes you start changing your technique which leads to more issues.

an extension I did the other week, multi on board.. all fresh... looked f**k**g rotten, had like dark lines.. not ripples, flat as tit, smooth etc just weird lines. Made an excuse to go back so could see it dry, still there but can't feel them, weird.. painted up bang on but still bothers me. OCD

That's the one, lines in lid....... embarrassing but not an issue
