you right, bud (or is that kebabman....:RpS_unsure:) i saw it, too! it's like drywall porno, with all the slapping sounds as well....it was way too long, though. i would have cut at about 1.39 after he tells her to "just slap it on". i think she feels used after that and becomes a bit of a growler. also, the music's all wrong :RpS_mad: it should have been a more kind of wah wah music ......

Yeah if so he could've made do with pulling the old nails out of the joists and using them seeing as though they're clearly still up there!!

Yeah, its pretty bad. His main excuse was that they're 12.5 boards and he's used to 15mm and that none of the walls are straight. He was a little embarrassed about it and didn't ask for the full amount. I felt a bit embarrassed to as he's self employed.

He saw that i'd done the bathroom myself... (pics to follow) and when he looked he pointed out a couple gaps i'd made in the dot and dab which at max were about 5-10mm which I filled with adhesive. Looks like a work of art compared to the ceiling.

Anyway.. its done and that's him out the way.

Now to fixing it. I thought i'd fill the smaller gaps with easifill where they are too big and with strips of board where they are wide enough. Then scrim all the repairs as well as the joints with scrim before skimming.
