I use timco in a black and silver box use them for odd jobs in garden years before they rust

seen them rust overnight stopped using them many years ago I did a big house on the I.O.M before we had drill drivers all put up with brass slotted screws must have been a ballache at the time /thank fck for progress

Don't have a driver but if I've got to use it in hammer I use a different sort if magnetic slider bit which stops it punching thro'. Looked at and didn't rate the W,,, ring magnet at all, or the price,

I try to get the coarse thread screws, they don't seem to splinter and the thread is more robust. As for impact drivers, never had a problem with those metal dimple bits, the trigger is usually a variable speed, just take care

had a box of screws from walls and ceilings once. Swarf was ridiculous in my fingers. I could have been picked up by a high power magnet if I was in a James Bond film!
