If the economy doesn't start off slowly Monday. I've only got one word to say this country fuked. People will be out of work not spending ther money little shops and pubs are fuked after June trade men are going back to 100 pound a day if your lucky! Y are some people so negative to kick things off slowly whith the econmy. OK I know ther worried about a second peak. And sadly people are going to die of this horrible virus but life is cruel that y 10million die of cancer a year. Senseble debate like adult not children.
 
I went collecting materials yesterday in preparation for working again, when was out I felt totally different about everything than when was sitting at home , we all need to be back in the flow and sure it will come good for us mate
There’s definitely gonna be some section of economy that be destroyed by all this but plastering and construction think will be as normally was

If what I’m hearing about gyms is right and they can’t open until October I can see a lot of them going under. The ground rent on some of these places is huge. October!!! They’ll never last that long.

Hope so! I get the impression that some people on full pay don't whant move off ther arse in Wales 1000 have died of covid19 population of 3.5million. In North Wales about 180 have died. This virus has being here since December I'd say so! to me 180 seems very low for a population of 600 hundred thousand to think it being here 5 6 month in North Wales. but people still whant stay in heavy regulation lock down

I think so to. I think some times they whant fuk the econmy up and here ther chance. Y would top scientist break social distance rule if he made rule lol
 
Many areas of business will have a reshape , affecting those who fail to adapt to online , the high street was going to happen anyway , wages are only relevant to what things cost with social security as a base line , human nature to want more drives " progress"
And owning a nice house isn't going to change ,,,, good spreads are safe for work as are good businessmen

I've had a few customers try the old 'I've got to be careful with the budget with all the uncertainty' reworded it says 'I want to get the work done now as I'm hoping to get a discount because of these uncertain times and you are probably desperate for the work'.

Do we reduce our prices? Do we f**k...I've been going in higher. Nothing to lose at the moment anyway with the grant.

I had a call other day . Believe it or not a gave him price and he hung up lol

I've always avoided any of that crap , I don't even look at the job , I charge my rate and that's it , makes life simple

I think once this is over they will privateise nhs and council and other stuff I think the Conservative always wanted that. And more more money for the greedi mp that are going to get a extra 10 grand on top of ther wages becouse ther working from home
 
Yep f**k prices getting under cut,there can f**k right off..with lower prices comes shitter work,I dont care anymore I'm a very good spread with nothing to prove,countless contacts so there pay me what im worth,even if it means working just a few months this year,il guarantee you I ain't working for £100 a day,if you do your just a cog in the system in pushing prices down,defo something more to it.like I said b4 my best mates mrs works on a corona ward and she felt under weather 4 a week now shes fine,didnt pass anything to my mate or there 2 kids if its that contagious surely there would of got the f**k*r!

You did earn more. I think the only way you will earn same is to work for the wealthy people. The wealthy will survive the average joe will sink big time. If Boris does not kick off in a sensable way Sunday evening for Monday morning
 
I think its gon a be mad busy after this. No ones starving as had hand outs . People are gonna want people in to do house up so domestics will be good. Could be some shite on site as they will be playing catch up

I think opposite tbh,sites are massively behind and there was anyway the amount of new builds that will have to be churned out in nxt 2 years will be off the scale,only problem is the contractors will be licking there lips and taking advantage,even tho contracts were signed pre pandemic there will still try it on,but il also try it on with my finish.2 can play that game

No nobody starving becouse morgatge is frozen no spending so only thing you can do is eat drink s**t and hour exercise.

Unless the site go bust! more likely if he does not kick off Monday. Migh turn out that way. So the people that holding back in lockdown have they got a brain! To try and move on in a safe senseble way
 
Builder i know,had 4 extensions and a new build booked in to go
2 cancelled last week until they see their how this goes.

History in recessions tell us new builds will pull back, ive not read anything in construction news that says this will not happen,considering this is the deepest recession in history. Though the do expect a bounce back next year.
New builds are demand driven and they will be affected like the last recession ,how bad will only become apparent in the months ahead.
