Yup couldn't agree more, taken this week off as it's half term. Spending as much time with my boys as possible. Legoland tommorow, chessington day after. A few years ago you couldn't get me to take time off at gunpoint

Said it before and Il say it again I cant get my head around people working wkends..especially Sundays its just not healthy

The new guys will work that out soon enough
If I'm busy I just tell the customer to wait till I can get there!!

To be fair it's easier to miss weekends on site work. Domestic jobs are always screaming and creating pressure for no reason most of the time. I hate working weekends but it's tough when your juggling 20 jobs and they're all desperate.
I agree with you though kitchy completely.

What does desperate mean though?

There doesn't seem to be many willing to wait a reasonable time any more. There always seems to be some mad panic IMO. The ones that say theres no rush generally want you within a week

Yup sums it up quite well though for most , me mum slept little and worked and fretted all her life and died last year before she was about to retire 66 .
Life has a way of sitting you on your ass if you don't take note ,for some that's permanent.
Enough on here have said it and what's worth what , to be rich in life or have a rich life ?? One of these don't include money. I know which life I'm living there is no second chance

These jobs should be offered to forum regulars first. Maybe for a week and then opened up to the vultures to swoop in and grab then f'off again.
