Morning all,

with regards to internal re skim jobs where you are only skimming one or two walls but can have an external corner which is not going to be touched. So you obviously cant use a corner bead - i normally use a stop bead and fill the small gap.

Is there a better way of doing this?

cut the original plaster out of the external corner bead so you can refill it when you skim up to the bead leaving the skimming flush not proud of the original bead

Depends sometimes do as arti says and sometimes whop a new bead on and feather it out from the bead
