So anyway out of curiosity has anyone one else ever had this problem if so would you put it down to being on paint that's not been scratched? Being Pvad or not? or A new property that's not settled and taken it with it or all 3 or none lol

More than likely the paint wasn't diluted,so you've got a skin there ,surprised its taken 3 years to come down tho:confused:,pva is only as good as what it's on top of

lack of scratch coat. As said, only as good as the paint its stuck too

Personally I think its more to do with the ceiling settling and dropping. I understand where your coming from regarding the paint though.

Im still not convinced though that scratching the paint in xxx would have made in difference I think its much more the movement weakening then cracking the hold etc.

Here you go Ryan.

Glad to see the banter found on WORKING sites has transferred onto a webSITE haha.

Dont get banter like this in an office, youd have a law suit on ya hands in an office for this ha

:RpS_thumbup:

I tell my mrs about some of the stuff said at work and on here and she said if we all worked in an office we'd be sacked in a week
