In theory I should of had a signed contract with him explaining that hes responseable for expecting the quote and to pay x amount on completion.

Obviously for £120 on a Saturday that wasn't he case

But as far as I was concerned I done the job payed for materials and I should have control over that until its been payed for in full

I've always been under the impression that the materials are yours till it's paid for. Don't know if that's correct though

As soon as you spread it on the wall, or fix it, build it in whatever it becomes part of the property, if you try removing it, that's a criminal offence unfortunately, only thing you can do about it is take the client to court.
It doesn't matter at the point that the customer haven't paid for the mats it's still belongs to them even if you haven't even paid for it at your merchant as its on your account

Interesting to know. I would still kick f**k into it and take my chance in court. No question.

Sometimes get a feeling they are gonna be a bit iffy, this is why it's sometimes better to do one monster gauge and get it all done, I mean if they gonna skank the doo and not cash up, it's better to have only MIxed up Once , than Mixed up Twice innit

I've had a few in the past where I've priced high cos I thought they were gonna be a pain and they were sweethearts. Felt guilty taken the payment...

Yes I've had this on phone and they sound a nightmare but when meeting up they are sound. Went to see something yesterday and he sounded odd and he was! Told him outright not interested. He boarded it himself 2 years ago! Lady today calls and says got a new outbuilding that's just been boarded by carpenter and is ready to go, I said did you want me to start Monday and she said yes so I said Monday 19th December! :tarjetaroja:
