fiba fuse tape on glasroc fireboard

Can this be used on glasroc instead of paper tape.read that you cannot use any easyfills only joint cement for taping in white book.

i have only used fibre tape on glasroc.

You get this tape from belmore,it is meant to be stronger than paper tape,it is also thinner,mud drys quicker on it also,won't take a chance as I have never
Taped on glasroc before.

i have only skimmed glasroc. i would think that it is impossible just to joint it as it is covered in circle indents.

The wall is getting papered.also has marble perimeter.
The white book advises if taped use only joint cement,slurry board indents.

it would be better to skim glasroc

Hi,there is a wall mounted gas fire on wall, which has a high heat output.
Concerned it might crack a skim coat.
