Do you fellas put fibres in both scratch and top coat of s&c, if so what size?

Also where do you get them from and how much do you put in each mix?

Concrete & Screed Fibres.
i just use them in the scratch marra and it tells u on the packet how much to use.....hope this helps

Stick the fibres in with your mixing water, breaks all the clumps down and lubricates the fibres and mixes easier...

Wickes sale some nice fine fibers, the ones from building center are course we have found.

Yes we have done in the pass, but the course fibers tend to break through the surface, but will cover when top coat applied. Then add the fine ones to mix for the top coat. just out of interest have you tried adding bonding and dropping on your knees facing east and praying to the sand and cement god? :RpS_thumbup:

as said add to ya scratch coat,if you can't find any fibres find a pet shop and get a few gerbals.....half in each mix should do it:RpS_thumbup:
