Firbre Optic Lights / Plastering Question

I am looking to install 168 individual fibre optic lights, as I have a flat room they can't be installed directly into the ceiling.

So, If installed the lights in plasterboard before nailing up on the ceiling would a plasterer be able to plaster round them all ?

to much work to skim this ceiling.
i would try to keep the lights away from the joints in the plasterboard, then just tape and joint the plasterboard.

Do you need to do the entire ceiling karen, customer I did a job for had hers as separate panels through 2 8ftx4ft sheets of 1/2 mdf, which were painted to match, and then fixed to the existing ceiling.
They could then be easily removed if any maintenance was required.
