Eat this pizza and cheer up mI ol mucker (y)

So is it the m200 I will be up against? You have mentioned that more than once :) if we start off in the van I will have an advantage I recon so only fair we both get set up :) I will have the whisk set up in the bucket and they will have the bag ready to crack open on to the machine unless it's one of them machines you have to mix first then pour in.
Surely use a machine that we know is up and running and can work!!!

If it happens it will be interesting
Couldn't give a f**k who comes out on top
Fair play to flynny for sticking his neck out
Ryan stop being a bender and get a machine ready to perform

We all hear about how many meters . Bags we can throw on and how fast the machine can apply I not bothered about that but in the mind of most spreads and mine I would love to see this i think it's one of those things with all the new tools and trends in think if the big company's stand by there products it could be a real big thing in the construction media news I was chatting with my mates dad who has retired now and his view was the machine might be abit faster putting on but the finish won't be as good and to me that's that go flynnyman:birra:

A machine does NOT finish for you! It is there to ease and speed up the application of plasters/renders, it's not magic its a tool that's all.
The finish is down to the man nothing else.

From what I have seen wet on wet can't be a better finish there is only one way to find out that's my opinion each to there own

Just flicking through this thread, haven't the time to read it, however a machine going on in one pass, getting the required thickness, this isn't a problem when hand applying, it's easy to just put one thicker coat on, but you get a bigger gauge on, and a better finish, doing it in two passes, using a machine to get it on in one pass seems a flawed opinion to me.
Apologies if it's already been covered.

I don't think it matters how it's done by either team as long as the finish looks how it should.
Whether one pass or 2 by either doesn't matter as long as the quality is there and it's completed to a standard ready to paint?

Here is a recent job being completed using Multi Finish and the M-tec M100 - no blockages, not one single issue during the application process.

As you will see, these are large areas, all the work is being completed of a Platform hoist 3 man team - 2 spreads 1 Lab.

These are the type of jobs I refer to, this is where the machine will come into its own.

The speed of application, mixing and the overall system will be far quicker than hand applied on this type of job

So where are we up to with the challenge? @Plasterers1StopShop

Got a lot happening at the moment Flynny but I am looking into it. This isn't at the top of my priority list as I know what my machines do as do the guys who use them and buy them

Its going to cost a fair whack as well..... Materials, boards, set up etc. Its not a simple £150 task, the time this will take etc we are looking over 2k..

Just thinking to myself are you sure about doing this?
You could end up looking an even bigger ding bat than you already are.

I guarantee if I went there dressed as a clown I would look less of a dingbat than you. You might not have the balls to do something that's risky we all know that from here, your just a nodding dog, now unless you are going to contribute anything to this forum I suggest you shut up coz your sounding more and more of a brown nose as the days go on.

That's not including my days wage and accommodation costs ;) I don't expect you to sort this alone the gear could come for free from @BritishGypsum coz it's their gear we are testing and promoting. I'm sure @Speedskim would be interested in sponsoring? Maybe TPF, plasterers news could also sponsor? @Danny. @Refina might want to advertise? This is an ideal opportunity to put the machines to the test and whatever the outcome I'm sure you will sell at least one machine off the back of it guaranteed. Feel free to tag a few more sponsors the more the merrier :) I'm sure your advertising budget would be best spent on this :)

Think your pissing in the wind ,it will never happen ,even with all the hundreds of machines that have been sold ,no one seems to spray plaster
It's alright saying the machine can do this and that and is faster and quicker, because that's what you have heard but unless you see it for yourself then it's hear say. I've seen plenty of videos of the machines in use and once you have seen one you have seen them all, boring and repetitive. If I was selling machines and this offer was made to me I would jump at it but to be fair I wouldn't of waited for the offer. We've seen a similar vid but like was said that was a set up and geared for the hand baller to fail it's embarrassing watching. @MixM8 you interested?
