Would much rather float and set these days as I can get more money for it and prefer not to have the hassle of loading boards out and then tripping over off cuts all day. Imo sticking walls is more hassle.
It is if u wanna use site mix, but who wants to do that? Not me.Sand and cement and skim is a far better job and finish and a lot cheaper on materials.
It's a no brainer
Just order a lorry load of good sand, mix your own and crack on!!
Nice and fatty, piece of piss!
Have you used the diamond float yet or did you return it?Just order a lorry load of good sand, mix your own and crack on!!

I've always used fabric softener. Does what it says, lovely soft touch finish!! LolAnd some washing liquid
Somethings gotta be easier on the arms. f**k**g knackers them in our game eh?!?!I don't be joking when I say I use it. I do it makes it a lot easier on the arms.

Let us know how it goes bud.they look goodNot used it yet, gonna put a strap on it like Scottie and give it a whirl, one day!
I think the longer one is better it makes the job flatter. The wider one is good for reveals.Of the sizes I saw at time of purchase I couldn't see one that seemed reasonable, I.e. Similar size to my polyurethane one, ended up with the 'standard' that to me at least seems a little square. Would like one a bit longer but the longer one seemed a bit narrow????
