floating - ok to use soft sand instead of sharp?

Youre better using sharp or plastering sand only or a mix of sharp and soft (building) sand.
If you only use building sand it can sometimes be difficult to work with in the ruling off and floating stage.

never ever use soft sand for rendering mate... if you cant use sharp sand dont bother as the render will fail... :-[
