yep I the same m8..
Hop ups can be more of a head f**k then stilts..
Once up on stilts as long as you are safety conscious then they can be more safer than a hop up..
If you ask a plasterer if he has ever fell off or tripped on his hop up then the answer will be “yes”

Yup I can see how that can be but I am already over 6ft so a small hop up is not an issue
