G4 won't pump

The star wheel runs fine independently. The motor runs. The water seems fine. The rotor and stator spins. But when all run together and the gear is going through it goes all stuttery and the genny nearly stalls. And the gear wasn't stiff. Any ideas ?

If the gear wasn't too stif it could be down to a voltage drop on your Gene. #TeaBoy

Is the yellow light flashing?

With just water it may still be fine, the machine is under more load when material is present.

Thanks to mcplaster it turns out it's the genny.
Gonna have to hire a genny for a couple of days. If it has to be diesel what kva does it need to be?
