@imago !!!!!How so - others have done the same thing. I did the same with a bathroom ceiling but never really gave much thought to gaps or other issues but that was only a small ceiling with nothing above but this one is a lot bigger and I am storing a motorbike above it

I was Just talking in general terms, although i had to board a ceiling tonight and started just right of centre and got a better result!
