Getting a bit more on

Pushing myself to put a bit more on. Not massive gauges, but small rooms, ceilings and walls and getting better with the twitcher.

Toilets, small bathrooms, utilities etc.

Did the middle part of kitchen knock through today as last hit.

I seen a gang of 3 brothers on insta today, think there Albanian lol doing 30 bag gauges no jokes and the work looked ok straight lines etc they make @algeeman look like a pussy cat check them out think the called 3 brothers plastering

It’s got the same on the thin coat render. The render suppliers recommended lads are Eastern European’s in gangs. Work like dogs but leave pretty decent work. I don’t even want to compete. I like to go home to the kids with at least a bit of energy.

Same with mono, there is a polish gang round here spray hundred of metres, mental coverage, finish is decent though

When I think about it, it’s a tiny hit, but relative to where I am and that’s ok. Mrs Jones is happy.



I often get to about 90% happy with what I do, then go back to 80% when I think I get a bit better.

Might tour around the country to seek out the ‘the truth’.

I’m on Instagram there account is 3brothers plastering they got loads of vids / pics on there I’ll try and link it over, I’m bit crap with stuff like that tho lol

I’ll never need to put that much on Ritch. Interesting though. I’ll admit that even my small hit tested me, but I’m pretty much self taught, it’s this place that keeps me on my toes.

Me neither pal I wasn’t knocking what u were putting on just your post reminded me of the Albanians today so I mentioned it, I just went back on and looked at there vids again blows my mind. I thought Albanians were cocaine drug lords anyway f**k pricing against them lol,

Always someone who kicks your ass so to speak. 3 as a well oiled machine would be different to one on their own. Fair play as a gang as they’re working as one. Probably lots of guys could learn from that.

btw, what I put on is paltry. I’m quite happy to have some criticism...it’s the only way to travel.
 
I'm close to retirement thank f**k , that's six bags each first coat , 45 min to mix , lay on and flatten with speedy , a bag in 7 mins lol

Best way 100% plus problem is the lads who bash out the metres in a day make it look like that is what is expected and further drive down prices.

If only people could experience how f**ked the body is in the 40's when in there 20's they would definitely work smarter not harder.

My idea of a good days graft is a ceiling patch for £350.
 
A customer last year had a massive extension he said the builder sub contracted the plastering he said 2 polish guys turned up and banged the open planned kitchen and lounge out in half a day must of been between 20-25 bags work looked good all painted up i went in to do all 3 bedrooms i said I hope you've got enough teabags and milk im gunna be here all week:LOL:
