Getting a bit more on

Bizzare why you would want a reputation for being good fast and cheap....mind boggles
It's still good money for those who are buying property in their own country
Probably £1/m in Poland
C'mon Boris lol

There have been gangs around that cover miles more work than everyone else since time began. I've worked on jobs with them and had them start for me. I've never once witnessed a truly high standard of work from these types. Not once. Sure some people are faster than others in everything we do, but there are limits as to what can be achieved using the correct methods and reaching the same standard of work. In my experience corners are ALWAYS cut and work is of a lower standard.
I did a ceiling at home today and if you stuck your head in, or I posted a picture you'd think it looked spot on. I'll tell you now that there are a hundred times as many faults on that ceiling as I'd leave for a paying customer.

Sonetimes wonder what ‘flawless’ means with different people. Always good to paint your own work

I disagree, some people work as a well oiled machine together, others struggle even though they are equally as competent. you see it at work as well as in everyday life. One person can glide effortlessly through a job while another struggles in everything. Also some know exactly the standard needed to get finished and paid, others fuss needlessly over the small details that do not matter.

I find doing a big hit had it’s pros an cons.. pros you get the big wad quicker in your hand onto the next job. Cons.. shattered at nights/body aches. Then i get to a point where I start dreading even mixing up. The games repetitive as it is.. going full tilt everyday can take its toll. But everyone to there own I guess. Also being to pernickety can be a bad thing. Knowing when an where to be comes with experience. Know a joiner who was an realised after years of being that way.. he never needed to be as most customers never noticed. Wasted hours doing something that wasn’t needed.

I'm Polish and there's no way in he'll I'll be ever doing that. Quality over quantity and off home after day of graft to play with my boy. Mind you I'm not planning to ever go back to Poland so maybe that's why.

Was just looking through the Instagram page of these ‘3 brothers plastering’ to be fair there work looks bang on, the one video 29 bags one hit, you can see it one hit way it’s setting. I’ve worked with some lads that r quick and can put fair bit on, especially if it’s all plain or big ceilings but these are flats, hallways, standard size rooms. They don’t give nothing away but they are 100% using citrate or something, 6 bags each to rough on, physically can’t get round/ over everything in the time to lay down with another 3 bags & trowel up to that standard no matter how quick u r. I’d like to see time started and finished for these ‘one hit’ if it’s anything less than 3 hours I’d take it all back

Just finished a 3 bed semi on me Todd in 6 days that's filling all chaces out floating 2 fireplaces out all prep then pva 2wice all labbing cleaning floors skirts windows cove! All over skim so nothing simple like over fresh board!! Ffs

Home for 4 everyday 2 today then customer says il ping money across Friday? Its Monday you c**t!! :ROFLMAO:

These lads doing 290sqm in ‘one hit’ so two gauges a day doing about 580sqm. Nearly 200 each per day. Aint having that. We’re doing 2 bed house which is 280m in 2 days/4gauges. Think if we put some citrate in we could do upstairs on the morning and downstairs on afternoon but would be 2 4/5 hour gauges

Your stupid your been exploited by the sharks of the trade! My best mate is one of the big hitters up north he laughs about the amount of money he makes out of the lads!

I work on housing scheme 2 and 1 gang we do a four bed in 4 days 510 metres I reckon we could do it in 3 days if we wanted but standard would drop there is a Romanian gang here who do two in 5 days standards decent but I know the one coat we had one coaters before and had to to do a lot of snagging after them we have to go back and redo ceiling s in whole house and people are living in it not good in a new house

I ain’t stupid mate I ain’t site bashing I do private stuff for small builders just sites of few houses at a time. I’m getting very good money thanks and affording to leave a good standard. Just watching these videos makes you realise there are people Turing that out daily can’t be right and I doubt it’s actually possible without additives that’s all

No offence to you but anyone that has to work like that is a idiot I comfortably make good dollar and when I have to turn up a notch its only because I'm running behind my deadlines to start other jobs!
