Sometimes to go in reasonable rate and show them what you casn do or go in to high and sit on your arse for weeks on end. We all have to realise now that the job has lost it mojo and we aint gonna get prices like we used to thats the way it is.

Your spot on scplastering your better just ticking over earning good money! week in week out but there still some on here who still think there going to get big rates! like i said before earning £500 to £700 aweek better then no work!!

Roseville plastering (west mids) offered me some new builds @ £1.70 sq mtr and supply my own generator asked him if he was F*****g joking,
His reply was ok then i will push it to £1.80 .....Absolute joke.....!
 
you lads should come to n.ireland some **** asked me to take on a site of houses sand and cement float and skim £1.60 a meter:RpS_cursing:

Surely that's a ******* joke......The bloke needs is head seeing to offering rates like that, i wouldn't have the balls to phone lads and offer them rates like that.

Think you missed the boat on that one. There is a about a billion foreigners already doing the work to a really shitty standard. Polish on the job we are on at the moment. They have skimmed upstairs in a referb we are doing in Fulham and it looks shite. They left us the ground floor and new basement as its all S+C float and set :RpS_lol:

Its not their fault though its the builders trying to save on labour and make more profit. The house is worth £4million+ when done so seems crazy to **** it up in the finishing stages.
