When spraying on hardwall I think it is different.

ah yer tuck that. The hard wall will pull the spray texture in.

I've never tried to spray on hard wall. Sprays on CPI GP render fine

Haven't tried cpi internally yet but have heard good things. Do you seal it first or just spray on it same day?

Nope float whole house then drop back and skim. Can spray full rooms including lids this way.

No need to seal

In what way? It's always worked out the same as hardwall on costings

I did a comparison on identical houses and put it on here. Cpi at 1.25 m2 a bag worked out about £3m2 round door frames and to cover conduits is more like a m2 a bag. It was painful evertime we had to dub out. hardwall at 2.5m2 a bag is £2.33m2 and at 3m3 is £1.96 m2 sand and cement traditional was a bit cheaper than hardwall but took twice as long as cpi.

dunno it was about 90m2 all the room was. always gonna depend on the walls and prep.

Do you find the cpi sagging at all being sprayed on that thick in one pass? It hangs about a lot just as top coat render anyways
