hello lads. how is everyone today? my name is imran biswas from warrington chechire and this is my first post. i saw the sight on facebook and have joined. i am a newly qualified plasterer and i am just looking for basic advice and pointers from you. as a starter question how much would you charge a customer to plaster a whole room including the ceiling. it is about three metes and the ceiling is just flat. thankyou
 
what is the average price please? i did advertising on the course but we did not cover prices for jobs. i only want an average price i do not want to upset anyone. thankyou
 
Imran you are new and we appreciate that but there are certain rules on this site and discussing prices is a big no no as it leads to a lot of arguing and falling out!
The room will cost whatever you are happy to charge and your materials on top!? Just think how long it will take you? And what to charge for that time which you feel is fair to you and the customer? Rip them off and your asking for trouble.

thank you marsh. i dont mean to offend anyone. i can undersatnd why you will not discuss average prices. so no big problem here. it will take ma a day and a half i think so i will charge for two days. i have seen another thread where they are charging £130 per day so i will start at that. thank you.

Don't forget to cover your materials aswell and depending how far away the job is for you? Your fuel etc. Also its Marshy or I will be offended lol :RpS_laugh:

I bet the good plasterers of warrington Cheshire are chuffed to bits with you Imran, coming on here after your 26 day course asking for prices how much to skim a room, so you can go out and undercut them, after all there years of training ,building a business up etc then you come along,
 
that is not right. i am just trying to learn better methods to improve and i am not taking your work. i explained this in the other section but that has gone. sorry if i have upset you but it is not like that

Do you think your ready to go out working on peoples homes Imran... do you explain you have no experience and did a 5 day course... do you think the bog roll certificate you gained actually means anything.... you got to ask yourself if your being honest matey..
