Hello there guys.
Ive recently rendered a whole basement.
All went well scratch dried to solid, final coat was all fine & in line.
Then stuipidly we put gas blower on it overnight to dry it in time for building inspector the next day to make it seem "tanked" & ready.
So lesson learnt the walls dried to powder and inspector said to redo them. So after hacking off to scratch level I water down the scratch and redo them but still they dried to powder?! So do I need to PVA the scratch to get the final coat to set right?
I have used 3 quarters of a ton of sand so far. Getting my arse kicked here guys.
