Hi @Arti , you would need Bauwer base coat (finish) with mesh in it over Bauwer Light for both internal and external applications.
There are few things are critical during Bauwer insulation system application:
- applying Rinzaffo key coat, about 80% of the stone or brick wall to be covered in a spatter-dash coat. Old render, plaster to be removed
- wet well the substrate 2-3 hours before Bauwer Light or Bauwer base coat application
- once Bauwer Light surface is hardened with a skin, do not removed or modify that skin before Bauwer base coat application. No key scratching required on top of Bauwer Light.
- apply mesh within 3mm to 4mm of Bauwer base coat, both for external and internal applications

Bauwer Light is similar in a way to insulation boards....for example:
Bauwer base coat (finish) with mesh is equivalent to base coat with mesh over insulation boards
Key coat is equivalent to fastners which hold insulation board to the substrate
Decorative coating Arenino Vk2 or Talociato Vk3 (externally) or GB1 (internally) could be applied over Bauwer base coat.

Another Bauwer insulation project. External insulation of traditionally built solid wall home without a cavity. Finished with Vimark render Arenino VK2 highly breathable mineral finish in cream colour. Project by All Care Damp Proofing, London.
