Hi everyone my name is Zak, just saying hello to everyone!! I do venetian plastering and have been for the last 5 years or so, do a little skimming too but nothing more!! I hope everyone is good, looking forward to getting stuck in. I speak my mind but at the same time can take the banter as well. please note : I will be posting mainly in the venetian section, I have used all materials and know (of them) most applicators in the UK. I have worked with many of the UK's applicatos and been called on jobs where certain so called applicators have worked. I have shocking stories for the venetian community. I will be naming and shaming. Also I have worked abroad, I have used I think most materials out there. Again I will be naming and shaming certain companies and what there are selling. Sorry its about time someone did. I have used some really good material in the uk and no so good. I can see marble plastering going down the pan just like standard plastering did. I mean the destruction of venetian plastering is upon us. With fallen metre rates down as low as £30/m now and certain UK companies commercialising venetian plaster for there own gains...... But on the positive side I will be asking normal venetian questions and joining in on conversations and posts, afterall we are all learning no matter how much we think we know!!! Zak
 
ya alreet Zak i know nowt about venitian was gonna buy some materials to do a wall in my house so if it is pants no one will ever see it :RpS_lol: what materials should i be looking for or should i not try ?
 
Alright zak, welcolme along... sounds like u no a thing or 2. post some pics mate, were was u trained? whos ur regular supplier and where are u based? cheers :RpS_thumbup: ...
