Hey guys been on here for a while but never really posted much. My name is jamie I'm 25 been plastering for 8 years. Love the banter on here but thought I'd introduce myself before joining in and people thinking who the **** is this clown haha

Welcome along mate

You will still get some stick - it is part of the forum - just don't take it too seriously

Get yourself involved mate - what do you specialise in? internals? externals? domestics? sites?

Welcome along buddy, oli should be here in a minute with his beige cardigan and werthers originals ;-)

Haha getting stick is part and parcel in this trade and makes the day go faster lol I do a lot of internal work but the past 2 years been doing a lot ewi, weatherby, webber and parex. I do a lot of renovation work too!! I try to keep in with the big companies on sites but also try to keep the domestic side of it going too because once your on site I find you get forgotten about for domestic work if that makes sence lol

We spray as a 2 man set up ,just makes life easier mate , loads of help on here when you turn to the dark side of a machine ,or stay as you are if it works for you :RpS_thumbup:

At the moment hand applying is working great. I was taught by an old school plasterer so kept things traditional. Still banging out the meters and earning a decent wage. But would be nice to get with the new way of plastering. Bet it's not cheap for the machines!?!:RpS_confused:

If you look at it as less strain on your body over the years ,i think they are cheap ,but i,m an old git at 46 ,so anything to get it on the wall helps :RpS_crying:
