hi like the title says just joined the forum

and i need a bit of advice on rendering,Iam a bricky by trade and done small areas of rendering before,ie windows and doors that i have blocked up,

ive been asked to render up some old stable blocks which amounts for a large area

i usually use a 4.1 mix using plastering sand and cement, but thinking of using lime in the mix as ive been told its a better finish and is easier to use...

any help with this would greatly help?

so help with the mixes sand cement ratio lime ratio?
cheers and thanks in advance
