Hilti collated

I was looking at the smd 1 a few months ago contemplating buying one but realised they were not available in U.K. then , I think they are now if I’m correct, but wanted to ask ( as I’m not sure ) is the smd 2 available here now and also when they say smd 2 do they mean the whole drill unit or is it just the collated screw holder part on the end ?

You can get a free collated end if you buy 50 packs of screws 5 quid a box

the smd is just the attachment.

the one in the picture is available but are more expensive fixing wise and have to use their fixings.
where as the standard smd you can use any brand collated screw

Ok thanks lads I’ll ring hilti see what price is , decided to swap over now from dewalt, so the smd fits onto the older collated drill unit too then ?

our Senco ,the smaller one not the 18v version which is to heavy, is faster then our pals hilti screwdrivers.

Hilti rep brought one round yesterday. Nice bit of kit. Just about to order the screws and get one free.
