Anyone recommend a good Hoover for mainly plastering debris but sometimes other building works ,I don't rate Henry's at all, want something with high suction but not to big to lug about if that's poss.

I've used a Henry for the last 3 years. When I was doing the insurance work its be used twice a day most days. Every bloke the firm had was given a henry as they were considered the most durable

Meile hovers for me, another example of fine German engineering
We've got one for home and your right the best Hoover ever ,but I've messed up two using them for sucking up small amounts of builders dust, looks like a Henry:huh:

still, is a powerful industrial vacuum, large and expensive. henry is a cheap usefull vacuum.

Henry for landlord duties and plastering work. Had same one yrs plenty of abuse. Use it bagless. Not sure if that affects it

Bloody hell who in their right mind would pay that for a hoover!?? :-0

Not me. I had the larger Hilti on Fleet Management with them and have just sent it back as the lease period ended. Looking to get the medium Festool in a few weeks. £386 + Vat.

This is mainly used with my drywall sander so has to be man enough for the job. I refuse to pay £600 + vat for what I had before, or even £475+vat for the 'baby' one.

I'd struggle to part with more than £50 for a hoover for work :RpS_confused: that festool gear is the business tho :RpS_thumbup:

I have a Fein QA55E in the garage that was supplied with my drywall sander from new. Even though it was a couple hundred quids worth, it went less than a month before needing to be repaired because it couldn't cope with the fine dust. I just use it as a spare now although the noise it makes is unbearable.

Yeah that Fein gear is expensive too. You get what you pay for I suppose but a hoover to me is not priority so I just buy cheap, mind you my Vax wet and dry was £40 new and had it over 6 years :RpS_thumbup: I've hooveredup all sorts with it and surprised it hasn't broke yet lol??
