I have once or twice and it does the trick but I've got a labourer that I leave on the machine all the time when I'm spraying so haven't really found the need to buy a hopper,
Tell you what though I've been eyeing up my spare wheelie bin it looks about the same girth as the ritmo hopper, chop the first ft off and it's got a lid to shut when it rains.
