In the market for a LOW hopup. Tried one off ebay before but was cheap s**t.

This just upsets me because hop ups are mostly useless to me.

I feel the same about people whistling... how does it look so easy?! Why can’t I do it?!

Got one from b nq. Ok i bought it by mistake but comes in handy.

Youngman ones are the best i’ve used, rubber feet last a while on them to.

Not bad but my crates look stronger ! And 64 quid is a bit of thievery imo.
Thinking my widest crates I stack for height and plank or kick them about, but only corner lugs keep em together so thinking drill corners n slide rod, tent peg in to stop them coming apart when want to get higher.

If i used hop ups I'd buy the one from rambroo tools. Fast to set up take down and light.

8ft ceilings no prob off floor, I won't use stilts anymore for higher up so kick a crate or plank out.

That's what you get for cheap shite. But I still use it!

My mate has a mcallistar one its bloody lethal,no clips to hold the side to the platform so you cant kick it about.

Yeah, it is cheap shite. Had some cracking cheapos over the years though that have taken a pounding.... not Mr Self-fold McAllister though. Hmmmm I wonder if silverline do one, I'm feeling dangerous.

For short arses like @JessThePlasterer you can take the rubber feet off and put lengths of CLS inside the legs to extend them.
Obviously these aren't suitable for ceilings but I find them spot on for walls.
