In five months it's value had gone up £40 000. Ridiculous. No wonder young people can't get on the housing ladder.

We went to view a loft conversion project a few years back. We couldn't believe it. The owners had taken out the purlins a year or two earlier because they were "in the way". They were using them as sleepers in the garden. We explained he needed to get a structural engineer in and then get back to us but we never heard back.

Well we are guessing place stood fine for hundred years , be one hell of a coincidence. Hard time trying to bullshit your way out of that one , hopefully the clients have detailed list of works, although I'm sure the bottom of the pile will be the scapegoat who will of been paid to do a runner about now.
