You got it near enough:RpS_thumbsup:. The guy who did the initial 2 skim has plastered before and in theory knows how long it should take but when phoned about the issue wasn't able to really talk so instead of hanging up kind of agreed and before he's had chance to think about the whole thing a cheque had been posted by his wife for compensate.

Jeez the misses getting involved!!! I would disown her without doubt! You would always be able to get hold of me but if you could and you could only speak to my misses then my misses would tell you that I would ring, not take it upon herself to refund you money. It's shows that she has no faith in her husband quality of work hence he isn't a spread end of

As mentioned before it's a little more complicated than just dealing with joe public. I think the cheque was sent because making an argument out of it would have caused rifts between people and they felt that it wasn't worth it.
At the end of the day by being f'ing cheeky the customer has got more work done and hasn't paid for it.

If he wanted another skim over it to completely get rid of it. Would this not cost more labour and materials so in the end result in more money being paid out by the customer.
You could have gone down the route of re-boarding and skimming but as mentioned before if a budget is nearing then the customer may want to cut corners or go down a different route which ends up with a finish which isn't as good as one that cost more money.

I think the moral of this story is that if a job is worth doing then its worth doing well........i think :RpS_confused:.
