that's why i don't answer these type of questions, its one thing helping another plasterer or a trainee but people just jump into this trade and demand silly money that makes it hard for people, some of use have learnt the hard way for many years hand mixing and breaking in trowels , now all you need is £100 crap drill and trowel and they come on here getting tips of everyone , i do like this forum but this type of stuff gets me bloody angry ,anyway rant over will go and find a thread so i can help out another immigrant ,roofer or postman
 
He he :RpS_lol: another chancer surfaces. First coat skim with broken up doritos to give a good key for the second coat which I like to add some pot noodle, any flavor is good but I prefer the chinese one. Save the sauce sachet though and add it to the splash water for trowelling up, gives a more even flavor coverage I find. Hope this helps :RpS_thumbsup:
 
I qoute and thats it.. leave the 3 day wonders to it... always some tramp who will work for beer money...
 
U find it every where , there will always be customers who want it cheap as can be and sum numpty will do it for next to nowt , not all customers though alot arnt daft and cowboy alert appears normally..... if its to good to be true ...... They will soon wish thy spent more and got a better plasterer as sand paper adds up haha
 
Other trades trying to plaster p#ss me off!! Skimmed living room for this couple while the plumbers where fitting the bathroom, was ask how much to skim bathroom after plumbers where finished £10 per m2 think it worked out £140!!
plumber butts in and says chuck us £50 and we'll do it!!

Just finished my work and left mate, about 2weeks later their daughter ask my missis can I pop round and and sort the edges out as the plumbers left lumps/snots!!! Me still ain't been back!! You pay peanuts......you get monkeys!!!
