How many scrubs and how do you apply water

I do use water. Well, the brush is wet. It's always wet, but no water running down the wall. Just enough to soften any last lines.
Totally dry , may brush angles but leave 5 min so not to drag moisture onto walls
 
I stopped using a massive amount of water when I switched to finishing with plastic or even stainless steel flexible trowels

Could never understand why someone would go from a consistent surface to one with inconsistent puddle's , the only old excuse was to shine for wallpaper which I thought cr.p , first sign of moisture and it peels. Water is used cos the spread is out of depth or cos some plonk.r taught them as a short cut
