do u no ho to cove mate and get all your miters spot on :-X also do u no how to join coving if its longer then a full lenth ???

I charge a thripenny bit per inch. Square inch that is. And stick it on with whisked up egg yolk and a deers antler. Works a treat! Hope this helps.

cove £4meter +1 jam donut or£72 box +2pork pies[walls or homemade] or spring time special £70 abox +a pasty and bag of ready salted .also i can work out special prices for any resturant owners or take away food outlets...i find it pays to keep options open ..getting so big now only fix 4 lengths a day but loads of work on ::)

i find the best thing to do is use the polystyrene stuff. you know the one, comes in 1 metre lengths and you can buy the mitres pre mate. lovely stuff it is, cant see the joints at all

Not sure what happened yesterday as I just got back from skiing but i will throw summit in ere... I know a couple of firms i priced against both going in at £3/L/m on site

I remember doing a job to cove a large 4 bed house, he expected me to charge him £1 a meter £1 a mitre. He was advised by Gypsm themselfs ::)

then again this was years ago so no f**kin help to you

Ive always liked doing coving, its a bit more interesting and not bad money. But that bloke must be doing well for himself, fairplay

I charge £2.00 per ft or 300mm and can whack loads of lm2 up per day if site work... its a doddle once set up... i chalk line the walls then put a few nails in chalk line to support cove... then use a bench to run the sticky on... easy do 100 lm a day

i dont nail the coving.... bloody hell man... i put nails along the chalk line to SUPPORT THE COVE then i take them out when sticky has stuck... ps to steve cov... u interested in some lime rendering/plastering?

have got time mate, were helping a mate of ours do a roof, ripped it all off today, got to turn it round 90 degrees, get it bricked up, trusses then tile it. thanks for the offer anyway mate

its for next month

well in that case we will be starting the extension haha. its a big job RS, few months work easily.

well its sounds about there then. i would go in for £3 lin supply n fix and see what they say. not that it makes any odds but i prefer to use joint filler for sticking rather than cove adhesive.
