how much sand and cement do i need

i have a wall i have to scratch coat it's 70m long 1m high. then i have to float half the wall. and dry dash half the wall.

Hi one ton of sand and 8 cement will kill it

2 tonne of sand will cover 78m square at 10 mm thick. we would use 15 bags of cement and 1 lime

3m2 apparently but if you catch alot of it you will get about 5m2

mathematical equation mr clemo.

square meterage, times by the depth will give you the cubic meterage. there is 0.6 meters in a tonne, and 1.6 tones in a meter, give or take.

so 70m, times 15mm or 0.015 = 1.05 cubic meters. times by 1.6 = 1.68 tonnes. allow 6 bags of cement per tonnes.

remember to allow for wastage
