how much to pva and skim average room ceiling 4 walls

Correct. I pretend to charge £140-£180 a day, depending on job. Customer would jump out of his skin if he found out what he's really paying me a day by the time I've made a profit on everything.

Overestimate materials and/or put profit on them, put profit on donk, put profit on other trades - all kinds of ways to make money without just coming out and saying it's £300 a day.

Just wish it was every day.

Builders are the worst for it...seen a builder once who put £3500 on a tiling job...Tiler did it for £800. Mate of mine has got the gift of the gab...he gets builders in to quote extensions passes the price to the customer and whacks £5000 on....customer usually goes for it because it's a nightmare getting a builder and he highly recommends them as a no hassle, perfect workmanship job. You are right the most money to be made is by being the middle man always has been.

I don't kick the arse out of it that badly... It's just that I do so much for nowt that I have to put profit in or I'd run around all day answering my phone for f**k all.
.do 8-5 for £180 and 5-9 on the phone for f**k all.
