how much to pva and skim average room ceiling 4 walls

Terrible way to treat a newbie just looking for a sensible bit of advice
you'll get a better idea if you run a tape across the room and work out the square metre
And then you're looking at £100 a sq metre

Dear David,
I'm surprised you've had any answers at all, you are aware that where you are in the country will hugely affect your prices? and maybe the size of the room ? - don't bother coming on here and asking dumb questions without engaging your brain first.
For your pantry in the outer Hebrides it will cost you a lot, for your millionaire mansions ball room in the Midlands it might also cost you a lot or you might get it for peanuts if you provide a floor to sleep on and at least one meal per day, in the South no idea.

Il take it for £850 if you supply the gear oh and I’d prefer it blue grit before I get there (y) You can probably pop the beads on aswell! Make sure rooms clear il probably roll up around 9ish no promises:)

The village vicar came to me and my mate when we was about 10 and offered us a job think he was trying to rehabilitate us because we was naughty little bastards,
He said can you fill in this trench it went right round the churchyard spent all day filling it in blisters on the hands and everything,
Went around his house to get payment and give us two tickets to the pancake party at the church f****** paedophile,
I only stopped playing knock and run on his house about 2 years ago.

If it's literally all ready to go no prep other than PVA and skim then £900 would be about right...if it needs prepping, patching, beading, scrapping back etc...£1200-£1500

People are always going to talk s*** about what they earn,
But if you think it's not possible for a plasterer to turn 100k a year you're wrong
It's not the trade it's the person doing the trade he's either a good businessman or not,

Just amazing it's pretty much everyone on here that charges mental money. It's all bullshit. Not many self employed 1 man band skimmers earning 100k a year of that I can assure you

Bit rich coming from the guy who also claims he makes £250+ a day every single day of the working year (230 days?) and is in the top tax bracket.

Back on topic.. average room, 3x4m, 2.4m ceiling height.. down my way decent wedge is around £450-500 bracket.. between one and two days depending on a few variables.

What's rich about that?

Correct. I pretend to charge £140-£180 a day, depending on job. Customer would jump out of his skin if he found out what he's really paying me a day by the time I've made a profit on everything.

Overestimate materials and/or put profit on them, put profit on donk, put profit on other trades - all kinds of ways to make money without just coming out and saying it's £300 a day.

Just wish it was every day.

A lot in the plastering trade I'll still working to the same rates as 20-years ago,
Everything else is going up I ordered a kitchen in September 2018 for 12000 things got delayed on my build I rang them up and asked them to start manufacturing nearly 12 months later they wanted 15000, price increase they told me take it or leave it,
I put my metre rates up beginning of the year.

I said this the other day. Why someone would be invited to plaster and then not offer to paint, I don't know. Get donk to paint and mark it up - anything else I can do for you?

I do it with EVERYTHING.

Cutting keys for estate agents, £30. Don't like it? No problem, come and get the key and go cut it yourself. I'm here to make myself a living, not help you make one for nowt.

I'm s**t at plastering. Four walls a day... But I know how to get money out of people and I know how to buy and sell labour.
