it looks like you've rendered to the floor so that would be bridging the DPC so i was wondering if you used the lowest motar joint you've cut (which is where the DPC would be im assuming)as the gap so you dont bridge the DPC.........if that makes sense

ah right, na builder wanted it to the floor to match exsisting, i expressed my concerns and he told me to do it anyways. about it really.
