How to send and receive private messages

I joined the forum yesterday but all my posts are going through moderation and I can't send or receive private messages. Any idea how long I go through moderation, and how I can sort the private messages? Cheers.

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I'm also new to this forum, and at first, my posts were going through moderation. However, after making 10 posts, I can now post directly without needing moderation. It feels great to be able to contribute more freely to the community!
