how do you stick yer beads on StanbroI always 2 coat, flatten in, then couple more trowels. Just seeing if there is alternative that's easier/better

Depending on background. Usually staple on board work, and if reskim try clout nails or sticking them. What ever seems best at the time. How'd you do yours ?why so many different ways?

To be honest if you are any good and your eyes still work, you shouldn’t be able to fault your work with a trowel none of these things people come up with should make a difference to the quality just making it easier. Obviously I don’t fall into that category as I am rough, slow and expensiveThat's not the case with me. I was just wanting to try something different and see how it turned out. Like I said earlier I've seen results of a sponge finish from some lads and can't fault it.
